Guides

Start with a decision.
Skip a wasted run.

Every page here starts from a decision you actually face: which class to commit to, where early skill points go, what the 1.0 version includes, and how the endgame changes your build.

Shadow Dungeon is a dark-fantasy hack-and-slash ARPG by OO Cat, released on Steam on August 26, 2026. The 1.0 Complete Official Version ships a 160-level main story tuned for 30–50 hours, more than 1,000 weapon affixes with 2,400 weapon-granted skills, and a Greater Rifts endgame on four difficulties. The pages below cover that arc end to end: the overview orients you in the systems, the beginner guide turns the first hours into a plan, the classes page settles your pick, and the Steam page covers price, discount status, and how to tell it apart from every other “Shadow Dungeon”. Each page leads with the answer, then shows the sources and version behind it.

  • First run? Open the beginner guide before committing skill points.
  • Undecided between Necromancer, Paladin, Mage and Ranger? The classes page compares all four.
  • Checking the purchase? The Steam page tracks the 1.0 content set, price and discount status.
